JaJ

JaJ was created by two 13 year old boys who had the courage and discipline to tackle a challenge and experience life lessons by taking a journey through unknown territories. The two friends, Jack McNamara and Alexander Tutaj, mixed parts of their names together to come up with their collaborative name, JaJ.

As the duo JaJ collaborated on the Rope exhibit, they discovered they wanted to focus their attention on their true passion, sports, and the JaJ Sports Art Collection, was born. The young artists are very much involved in athletics. Jack McNamara plays baseball and Alexander Tutaj plays hockey, rugby and soccer.

They believe it is important to be active and try things even if you are not good at it. “There are lessons to be learned in trying something even if it’s just a discovery that you don’t like it,” said Alex when asked why they decided to get involved in art when neither boy ever had an interest in it.

JaJ is using this website as a support platform for acknowledging inspirational people from all walks of life and all ages that have the courage to take a chance and follow their dreams.
